Former Super Eagles defender Joseph Yobo met with
African most decorated player, Samuel Eto’o, ahead of his testimonial
game this month. Joseph Yobo, who won 100 caps for the Super Eagles and
retired from international football after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil
-will host a match to mark the feat.
His testimonial, tagged “The Joseph Yobo Centenary Game”, will be played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka International Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on May 27.
Since making his debut for Nigeria in 2001, Yobo went on to feature at three FIFA World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, winning the continental competition in 2013.
